PROGRAMME ON SCHOLARSHIP TO THE POOR AND NEEDY STUDENTS FOR HIGHER STUDIES

Dear Patron,

Under the Community Development Programme of this Centre, reaching out to the poor and needy students for their study in our Gadadhar Sisu Vikas Kendra (from class-I to Class-IV) at free of cost is one of the endeavours of our service activities.

But it is observed that on most occasions the poor parents do not like to send their children to school after completion of their primary education or completion of their study up to secondary level for acute financial problem. The scheme of scholarship has therefore been introduced by this Centre in the year 2004 for the boys and girls who are academically prospective and sincere in their studies. Already many selected students, both boys and girls have come up successful in their life and have been able to raise standard of living of the family, which they had never dreamed earlier.

The present group of 39 students have been enjoying scholarship support under your patronage through this Math. Till date each of the students is sponsored @ Rs.12000/- per year which is being credited to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts on monthly basis. Through our observation it is felt that the higher-class students need more of the scholarship amount which would help them to meet their increased expenses for studies.

The Solution of the Problem :

Therefore, to our existing donors we would like to submit our appeal to consider enhancement of yearly donation from Rs.10000/- to Rs.12000/- per student per year to help us continue the project in the interest of these group of students.

Hope you will please consider our appeal and will kindly join in this noble programme on education for the youths as desired by our Pathfinder Leader Swami Vivekananda. Kindly bear with us for the inconveniences caused to you.

The donation for the above purpose is exempted from Income Tax under Section 80-G of the Income Tax Act., 1961.
